Yesterday I did a makeup demo at South Essex College for students.
I had a couple of hours to showcase two creative makeup looks from shoots I’ve done in the past. Here is a quick snap shot of my superhero mask - adapted using different colours.

To get the definite line when creating this look, my preference is a piece of kitchen roll taped across the forehead using scotch tape.

I’m demoing this mask makeup that I created for a photo-shoot a few months back, this week at a local makeup college. Who doesn’t love a bit of glitter?! This was the process of a test run I did for a photo shoot.
This gave a whole new meaning to being ‘covered in glitter!’ My flat was coated for weeks.

For those of you who love to have tattoos but would occasionally like to cover them up for a wedding for instance, or a bodybuilding comp, there are plenty of products you can use.
You need a camouflage product such as Vichy Dermablend, Kryolan Supra Colour, and then there’s also Airbrush.
I used my Dinair Airbrush for this. The key once you’ve matched the colour is to then add in any freckles to match the rest of the skin. It makes it look more realistic.

This makeup creation was inspired by the ‘Tree Frog’
Sometimes my photographer likes to set me challenges, and this was one of them. I took some of the pattern from the frogs back, and the colours overall and came up with the above concept.

Us Brown eyed people are the lucky ones as we can pull off any colour unlike the other eye shades. But, Blue is the most complimentary to make Brown eyes pop! And Green also makes them stand out more so.

Had a beautiful bride-to-be makeup trial yesterday. Nicola is getting Wed in October & has chose an autumnal trio-colour-combo for her eyeshadow. The bronzed Orangey Gold really brought out the Green in her eyes.
It nice when some of my clients opt for something complementary to their eye colour. Nic is a hairdresser so she’s familiar with the colour wheel.
For instance, if your eyes are Blue, you can wear Red, Red/Orange & Orange to really make your eyes pop!
Green eyes look bright when wearing Violet, Red & Orange.

My twin sister is getting married this August, and naturally I’m doing her makeup. So today we decided to have trial run with the eyes.. We settled on a soft smoke with black liner. It looks stunning in the flesh.
I decided to go for an almond shape with the eyeshadow as it complements my sisters natural eye shape.
