I’ve recently seen too many girls pencilling on their eyebrows, too thick, too dark and in awful shapes! Thick dark brows will make you look older and give you a harsher appearance.

Your brows do not have to match your hair colour in order for it to be the ‘correct’ way to do brows. Use a brow powder, it’s softer. And always use a colour that appears lighter than your brow hairs, you’ll be surprised how dark some colours are. I have brown brows but I use an ashy pale grey colour. It may look too light in the pan, but it’s perfect on my brows.

Also, if you want darker brows, then have them tinted. The point of pencilling and powdering in your brow is make them appear fuller. Obviously you can go darker using a powder / pencil for the night if you feel its necessary. But on a daily basis, if you want them darker, then have them tinted.
