I created a quick soft bronzed smokey eye using my two new Illamasqua products; Gleam & Enrapture.
As these are creams, they will crease in the socket but I don’t mind that look.
If you’re not a fan of it, you can set the creams in place but firstly applying a primer to your lid, then applying eyeshadows over the creams. By sandwiching the products, you’ll help prevent them creasing as quick & the colours will be more dense, thereby making them last longer.
My favourite colour to apply over Enrapture is Woodwinked by MAC. It’s very similar, bronze in tone & has an orangey appearance when blended out. Lovely for the summer!
I applied the Enrapture over the entire lid, and then applied Gleam - Aurora to the brow bone & centre of the lid.
By applying the highlighter to centre of the eyelid, it reflects the light which makes the lid space look larger. Where this product is very sheer, it doesn’t really effect the colour of the Enrapture.
Totally in LOVE with these two cream products from Illamasqua!
Gleam is a soft highlighter which can be applied to the face & body to accentuate areas such as the cheek & brow bone, giving a subtle fresh glow to wherever its applied.
Enrapture is a ‘Liquid Metal’ which is metallic & reflective. This deep bronzed shade looks beautiful on the eyelids when you have a tan. These two teamed together on the face is phenomenal.
My kit set up on today’s photo shoot!
My messy working area! This was before I even started the shoot.. I have no organisation when I comes to how I work. Just get on with it I say! Ha..
Check out my YouTube channel for looks I create using these products: www.youtube.com/smiles2310This makeup look was my version of an Alex Box creation that she created for Illamasqua.
It was the last look of the day on our shoot, and it was on a whim that it came about. Martin asked me if it was something I could recreate, having never tried it before or had any practice, I just gave it ago and this was the result.
I like the dimensions of this makeup look and I was pleased how it came together.
I used my airbrush and a piece of paper to create all the shapes.
In the second image you’ll notice all the Blue swirls in the background, this was something Martin came up with on the shoot, which involved me swinging a neon light source behind Kates head - Yes, I did smack her around the head a few times by accident! Haha!
This is my new Facebook Timeline image for my make-up page. A combination of all my favourite make-up creations I’ve done over the past two years.
I absolutely adore this cream blush by Illamasqua - “Promise”
I’ve just setup my makeup for today’s photo shoot with Big Brothers Maisy James, BINTM Lives Joey Bevan & my favourite photographer Martin Higgs!
