All products and details are listed in the description bar. You can see some of the footage of my headpiece being finished off after makeup application.
Today I am Angelina Jolie, lol..
I filmed my Maleficent tutorial, and I took these quick snaps on my phone before I put on the headpiece & outfit.
Amazing how lenses & sculpting can change your entire face.
The tutorial will go up this week on my channel. If you haven’t subscribed already, then please do check it out; www.youtube.com/smiles2310
Here is a brief breakdown of how I created this makeup look on my client, Dilara, today;
*Cleanse skin with Bioderma ‘Sensitive’.
*Apply ‘Matte Veil’ by Illamasqua down the centre of the face.
*Then ‘Hydra Veil’ by Illamasqua over the rest of the face.
*Prime eyelid using Kryolan Primer.
*Neturalise the eyelid with Sephora concealer, this will act as a base for the eyeshadow.
*First eyeshadow to apply over the mobile eyelid is ‘Dark Horse’ from Urban Decay Naked 1.
*Over that is ‘Smog’ also from the Naked 1 palette.
*Smoke outwards & upwards using a blending brush, softening through the socket.
*On the inner 1/3 of mobile lid apply ‘St.Topaz’ (Gold) by Coastal Scents.
*Apply ‘Shroom’ by MAC on the inner corner of the eyes for added highlight.
*On the outer corner of the mobile lid apply ‘Black Bear’ eyeshadow by Louise Young.
*Blend lightly at the edge creating more of a smokey eye.
*Through the socket of the eyes apply some matte bronzer or a warm Brown colour.
*Use Bobbi Brown ‘Ink Black’ gel liner on the waterline.
*Clean away fall-down (loose eyeshadow) from under the eyes.
*Highlight & contour using a foundation that’s two shades lighter & two shades darker than your skin tone.
*To do this, use a beauty blender & stipple a foundation that matches your skin tone over the rest of your face as well as the highlight & contour.
*Under lower lashes apply the same eyeshadows as used on top lid.
*Smoke out using a pencil brush.
*Define brows & use a concealer to create a clean defined line under the brows.
*Line top lid using the Black gel liner from Bobbi Brown, and wing it out.
*Apply mascara & lashes - top & bottom.
*Use a Peachy coloured Blush on your cheekbones (Juicy Moods by Kryolan)
*Add some highlight by TheBalm to the highest part of your cheekbone.
*Line lips using ‘StripDown’ by MAC.
*Apply ‘Cherish’ lipstick by MAC.
*Set the foundation down the centre of the face using translucent powder.
The key features to my Maleficent makeup tutorial are coming along nicely!
I’ve completed the horns and headpiece, I’ve made the prosthetic cheekbones, and now my contact lenses have arrived!
Just need to sort out what I’ll wear and then I’ll film this bad boy! :)

Coastal Scents sent me their new ‘Revealed2’ palette to try out
pre-launch, and I decided to use it in a tutorial as so many of you are always asking me to use ‘more affordable palettes’
So please do check it out!
*This is definitely a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette*
It’s now available for purchase, and to celebrate its release Coastal Scents have it on their website for half price, but it’s only for about another 12 hours or so… http://www.coastalscents.com/makeup/eyes/eye-palettes/revealed-2.html
I filmed two new tutorials for my YouTube channel today - here are two selfie shots after filming.
For the first look, I used the brand new Costal Scents ‘Revealed 2’ eyeshadow palette that launches today!

And the second look I used a Bobbi Brown ‘Nudes’ palette to create a feminine feline cat-eye!

It’s all about looking sunkissed as the Summer approaches!
But some of us like to look after our skin and keep it protected from UV rays with primers or sun lotions that contain SPF in them.
Here I showed you how you can achieve that sunkissed glow on your face with makeup - Or, if you are already tanned, you can wear this eye makeup on holiday or Summer evenings
