This makeup creation was inspired by the ‘Tree Frog’
Sometimes my photographer likes to set me challenges, and this was one of them. I took some of the pattern from the frogs back, and the colours overall and came up with the above concept.

Check out a friend of mine who is a fantastic photographer - Freddie Lee Thompson
This awe-inspiring photo is from his portfolio of astonishing images. Freddie has such an incredible eye for seeking out picturesque settings & creating scenic art. From the initial shot, to the final retouched result, Freddie’s passion & skill can be seen throughout. The imagery just pulls me in like reading a great story, and I could sit and stare at these photographs the entire day. I am blown away by his skill and I wanted to share it with you.

3rd image from the ‘Glitter Brows’ & ‘Gold Leaf’ shoot with Sam & Martin.
This girls lips are amazing! I’ve used a Dior lip gloss mixed in with a hint of ‘Golden Ticket’ from Lime Crime.
So subtle, it just makes Sam’s lips luscious!

Beauty Shoot with myself, model - Kirsty McMahon & photographer - Martin Higgs.
I love this image, it’s very classic looking! If you saw the video I posted up last week of myself doing makeup on a model, then you’ll recognise that this image is from that particular shoot.
For Kirsty’s hair, I simply tousled it using a Babyliss Conical wand, then smoothed out the curls using a soft Denman brush.
As for makeup, I went for a classic dark smokey eye & Red lip! I also drew in a few extra hairs at the front of each of Kirsty’s brows. This gave them a beautiful full look, and it also helps to stop the brows looking blocky at the beginning, which often happens when brows are plucked or threaded into shape.
